Mathematics for IGCSE & O level - Ratio And Proportion (Section 5 - No. 14)

If x:y = 3:7, then:
x is larger than y.
y is larger than x.
y = (7/3)x.
x = (3/7)y.

Uitleg

If the ratio is 3:7, y is bigger. Hence y = (7/3)x. also x = (3/7)y.
